As a mama of two, I know how fast this season flies by. One minute, they’re curling into your chest like a sleepy newborn, and the next, they’re sitting up with the proudest little grin you’ve ever seen. That sweet halfway mark, around six months old, is full of personality, gummy smiles, and giggles that could melt your heart. It’s hands-down one of my favorite ages to photograph.

What Makes a Sitter Session So Special?

Sitter milestone sessions are all about capturing your baby’s budding personality. By this stage, they’re usually sitting up with support (or completely on their own!), grabbing their toes, and giving the biggest, most joyful expressions. Their features are changing, their eyes are twinkling, and their connection with you is becoming even more beautiful.

And the best part is you don’t have to lift a finger. When you book a session with me, we’ll plan everything together, from the softest baby wardrobe to the perfect setting, whether you’d prefer the cozy light of my studio in Lexington or the sunshine of an outdoor session.

A Peek Into Your Experience

I’ve carefully crafted every session to be relaxed, joyful, and completely stress-free. Here’s a little peek at what the sitter milestone experience looks like:

• Pre-session planning: We’ll chat ahead of time to talk through your vision, wardrobe options, and what to expect. I love helping mamas style their little ones with access to my LGP exclusive client closet, full of dreamy, timeless pieces perfect for this age.
• The session itself: These sessions are sweet and simple. Think 30–45 minutes of soft giggles, chubby legs, and those sparkling baby eyes that just light up the whole room.
• Virtual ordering appointment: After your session, we’ll meet virtually to choose your favorite images and design artwork for your home. From heirloom albums to fine art prints, we’ll create pieces that are just as beautiful as your memories.
